Installing Flash Player 7.0

 Please note: you will need operating system 9.1 or later to load and operate Flash Player 7.0
  1. Click here to see if you have the Flash Player you need.

  2. If a Flash slideshow appears in a pop up window, you already have the player you need. Close the slideshow and click here to exit this file.

  3. If a white page appears and remains for 10 seconds, minimize the full page Roamer Guide browser window behind this file (click the yellow middle button at the top left of your browser) and open the Roamer Guide CD on your desktop. Open the "Install Mac" folder.

  4. Click on the file named "Install Flash Player 7 OSX" if you have OS 10. Click on the file marked "Install Flash Player 7" if you have OS version 9.1 or 9.2. (If you do not know which operating system you have, click the apple icon at the top left of your screen, scroll down and select the first item, "About this Computer.")

    Please note: if you do not have Internet Explorer Version 5.1 or later, OR Netscape Version 6.2 or later, you can click here to use the internet to download the IE browser appropriate for your OS.) You can click "Help" on your Internet Explorer Browser Window and scroll down to click "About Internet Explorer" to find out what browser version you have. You can find out what OS version you have by clicking the apple icon at the top left of your computer screen, scrolling down and selecting "About this Mac."

  5. Read and click through the dialog boxes.

  6. When the Install button appears, click it to install Macromedia Flash Player 7 into your browser's plug-ins folder.

  7. Your web browser will launch a new window. When you see the Macromedia Flash Player 7 logo and text, the installation is successful. Click here to exit this file. Maximize the Roamer Guide browser window to continue.
