The Squarebot model is a versatile, well-rounded robot model. It contains a variety of sensors (including Quadrature Shaft Encoders, an Ultrasonic Rangefinder, Bumper/Limit Switches, and an Accelerometer) and utilizes two motors to drive the left and right drivetrains, respectively. It also has a single-jointed arm that can be used to lift objects and an LCD screen to display program debugging information. It can be used to complete all of the challenges without any modifications to the robot.
